The Case Book of Sleep Medicine, 3rd Edition was a labor of love.
Lots of designers can make something look pretty, but it takes great mastery of the design software to create a 551 page, fully functional print and digital book. This was an 8 month long project from start to finish. As the only designer on this project, I set up a very detailed set of paragraph/character styles, automatic TOC and index and paid close attention to each individual page after countless edits.
I sourced quotes, worked with a vendor and attended press checks to ultimately produce 10,000+ copies. I collaborating with editors, copywriters, marketing and educational departments at the AASM to get this project out into the real world.
